Went on a random trip to NY and while at the 9/11 memorial we were hungry and came across this place. Food and atmosphere were great but I can't say enough about their hospitality! My wife and I just had a newborn so she needed to stop every few hours to pump, we couldn't find a private place with an outlet and they let my wife use their outlet in the back office so she could do so in private. The staff here are the best and I couldn't thank them enough, we'll definitely be back!
I came to visit O’Hara’s after learning about their history when it came to the aftermath of the 9/11 attacks prior to my visit, and the experience did not disappoint. Bartenders were very receptive with drinks and food, which tasted very delicious. I recommend when you’re at the bar, ask for “The Book” and they will give you a large album of photos of the events that transposed on 09/11.
The hub of First Responder community in NYC. Great place, Great food, Great people. As first responders we were glad to staple our EMT Service patch on the wall.
Was told by 2 locals to go here after visiting the memorial. Food was good, seeing all the patches was cool. Great service even when busy, highly recommend!
It’s rare that I give a 5 star across the board, but this place deserves it. The food was astonishing and the atmosphere was lively. The workers were some of the friendliest I have encountered. If I lived in NYC this would be my go to locally.
I am so happy I stopped here and not the place I was actually headed for. The burgers here are fantastic and there are more police and fire department patches than I've ever seen in one place. Had a great conversation with a couple of regulars and left with what felt like an authentic New York experience.
Very cool bar- love all the patches and the pride this place has in their city and response to 9/11! Zucchini sticks were yummy!
Great lunch spot to hit up after visiting the 9-11 memorial. This place is its own memorial to then. Ask to see the history photo book if it's your first time visiting.
Lovely quirky place walls.and ceilings covered in emergency services memorabilia. Had burger and fries , was nice nothing special but reasonably priced.
